On the way to Cordoba, we visited
Montefrio, a very cute little town
in the middle of the olive grove country.

Here is the town from an overlook.

Town details

Town details

Town details with olive groves in the
back.

More Montefrio details with more olive
groves.

Regular coffee breaks were common.

Party time.

Same town, different angle. More olive
groves.

Did I mention they have olive groves?
Let's zoom into the farthest hills in the back.

Surprise! More olive groves there too.

We finally got away from the olive groves
and settled in Cordoba.

Cool forts, castles, and cathedrals.

Looking for food.

Please let me in. I am so hungry (and
tiny).

Early morning stroll through Cordoba.

Did I mention that people drive on these
streets? Pretty friggin' crazy.

Sour orange trees were everywhere.
Beautiful.

More beautiful Cordoba streets.
(As long as you are not driving them. Then they become
PURE EVIL.)

Nice 600 year old church.

Play time.

Nice square. Forgot the name.

Did I mention that even buses drive on
these streets? Watch for side view mirrors.
They can rip your arms right out of their sockets.

More play time for the kids.

A very pretty church from something like
13th century. Very cool.

Coffee time.

Found some modern buildings and real
streets.

In the afternoon, EVERYTHING shuts down.
Hungry? Out of luck. Thirsty? Too bad. Need to pee?
Better hold it.

Did I mention that everything shuts down?
Yep.

Very pretty street with flowers.
