I spent 5 days in northern Arizona with Bob and Csaba exploring the area.

From Los Alamos to Flagstaff. Cool desert erosion.

Canyon de Chelly National Monument. Pretty awesome place.

Hiking in Sedona. This is Schnebly road.

We found a vortex, but did not feel its energy.

.
Agave plants in Arizona are amazing. Their stem grows to about 12 feet, and their base is beautiful

Mitten Ridge trail vista.

View from the Airport Mesa over Sedona

Here is the base of an Agave with no stem growing yet.

Brins Mesa trail. We watched an impressive sunset, then ran to the car.

Next morning we flew north over the volcanic cinder cones.
Later in the day, we will hike to the top of the one on the right side.

Grand Canyon from 14,500 feet (4400 m)

Sedona Valley was beautiful from the air.

This is SP Crater that we are about to climb.

The side was pretty steep and loose, but offered great views.

This is the lava that flowed out of the crater (I think 7,000 years ago).

With B-O-B on top.

We hiked on top while waiting for sunset.

Sunset was very nice.

We ended up renting a Nissan Armada, which can fit 8 people. Huge SUV.

The next day we explored some desert canyons on Zuni Indian Reservation.

Bob checking out the view.

Then we hiked around the Little Colorado river...

which carves an impressive canyon.

Then we went to Grand Canyon for sunset.

We flew back to Los Alamos the last day. This area was amazing and needs to be explored.
We did not see any roads, so it will be tough to get here.

More cool desert features.

Another cool area.

Honey, which car should I take to work today?

More desert features worth exploring.

Back over Canyon de Chelly.

Spider Rock.

Almost back home.

Here is the GPS flight track

Thanks guys for another great trip!!!
