I took my first flying lesson in Kona,
with Alex and Grace in the back seat (see below).
Jon Dabel from
Tropicbird Flight Service was a great instructor.






We snorkeled with sea turtles in this bay
the day before. It was amazing.

On the left side is the Cook Monument,
where James Cook was killed.

We visited a resort called Waikoloa,
which is the most beautiful (and
expensive) resort we had ever seen. All the rest of the
photos are from there.







It was very difficult to photograph
geckos.
