We really wanted to go
to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta this year.
While the balloon
events and fireworks were amazing, the traffic was
maddening. There was no traffic control and the roads
could not support the number of cars present. In
addition, few bad people really messed up the traffic by
cutting in and causing havoc. It took more than one hour
to just get off the Freeway. This was the
worst-organized event I have ever attended in my entire
life. It is incredible that an event that has been
organized for so many years can be this mis-managed.
Grace and I decided we would not go back to the Balloon
Fiesta for at least 10 years, if not more.
