On top of the Monk, waiting for the
clouds to clear

Now there is hope.

View south

Above the clouds

View north

More views from the Monk

Cute chickens enjoying the scenery.

They know where to rest

Over time, the views become better and
better.

That's a little village in the back of
the fjord.

Another village on the fjord

The same village

The views opened up to the south as well

Here is a pano from west to north

And one from south to north (180 degrees)

Another view to the north.

South views (you can see Vaeroy island in
the far back).

Descending off the peak after ~8 hours
spent on top.

Back in the town of A (see, I was not
kidding).
From here, we started driving back north (there is no
other way)

Another fishing boat

We decided to backpack to an isolated
beach called Kvalvika and camp there.

We are on the Atlantic ocean.

Nice cliffs

Here is a 270-degree panorama from the
beach. Pretty cool.

Our camp for the night.

Back in the early 1900s, there was a
settlement here, and these are the remnants.

Another cool village

Cool town called Hamnoy

More Hamnoy

Some fishing cabins for rent in Hamnoy

Fish-drying racks in Hamnoy

More Hamnoy (can you tell I loved this
town?)

OK, I promise this is the last one of
Hamnoy (I think we are gonna hang this one on the wall).

Back in Reine

Fish heads drying

Reine isn't much uglier than Hamnoy

More Reine

More Reine

More Reine

The gang in Reine

More Ramberg beach (looks like Hawaii)

Some cool dude we found.

Another cool dude kite surfing.

A little town of Nusfjord.

Nusfjord has an open museum, which was a
total tourist trap and not worth
almost $10 per person they charged. This is a rare
occasion where I felt like a sucker. Oh well.

The free views of Nusfjord were far
better than the open-air museum (seen below).

Well, all good things come to an end. We
are leaving Lofotens on a fast catamaran.

Another cool view of Lofotens from the
ferry.

Whassup.

After arriving in Bodo and walking
around, we took a plane to Oslo.

The views were great.

After arriving in Oslo, we spent the
evening at Bob's, who treated us with pizza and beer (of
course).
What an amazing trip. Thank you guys very very much!!!
