Over
the last 3 years (since we moved into the house), the
largest transformation has taken place in the backyard.
I am so amazed by it that I wanted to share. The first
two years, we mostly spent working hard on laying down
pavers, bricks, grass, liners, rocks, etc. During the
last year, we built the two container gardens for
vegetables, and then Grace has done an amazing job of
putting in beautiful flowers. It is now very enjoyable
to eat and play outside.
Below are three pictures of the backyard
the way it was when we moved in.
This is when it was nice and dry. After a rain, we could
not go out due to mud.
Three years later, and below are the
results (the grass is still not green,
as we had a very cold and dry spring, but it will turn
green in 2-3 weeks).
